Hi I'm Evan

I'm a normal 18 year old guy; an aspiring musician, teacher, and baseball coach; I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently in my Senior year of High School. I have three passions in life; Music, Baseball, and providing service with the character of "Christ like love." My plans are to continue on into college at Washburn University to play baseball and to major in Music Education.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon simply because of the message I have received and the truthfulness I have felt and continue to feel when I study the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I grew up Baptist all my life denying and trying to disprove the LDS faith; I guess that plan backfired :), the faith proved me wrong. and I'm so glad it did! I've done a lot of research that proves the faith to be true, but it comes down to the Testimony, testimony is the key to truthfulness. When the missionaries told me to pray about the truthfulness of what they were saying, I did; I became overwhelmed by the confirmation I received; As I continued to investigate the Church, my Testimony grew and keeps growing on a daily basis. I'm a Mormon because the Church truly does preach of Jesus Christ, Heavenly Father, and the plan for happiness in this probationary state. The Church reveals the true nature of God and that he still speaks and acts today. The faith that I have gained of the LDS Church has changed my life and continues to change me to the man, father, and husband I hope to become someday.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by simply living how the Gospel tells us to live, Well, I try anyway. I have not had a calling because I was recently baptized in January, but I hope to have one soon.
