About Me

I was baptized at age thirteen. As a young man in my 14 to 17 years participated in the study of scriptures, which we call SEMINAR. Around age 21 I felt a strong desire to make a full-time mission. I prepared for the mission and on May 6, 1999 I entered the Missionary Training Center which is located in Sao Paulo, Brazil. I served in the Mission Santa Maria in Rio Grande Southern The mission feels closest Salvador and had many spiritual experiences that have strengthened my testimony. Upon return from the mission met a young man returned missionary who served in the Sao Paulo Interlagos, after one year we were married in a sacred place for all eternity, this place was the Temple of Campinas, Brazil. After a year of marriage, we had our daughter.

Why I am a Mormon

what makes me stand firm in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has 20 years is the testimony of the truths I have learned about that wonderful that families can be together forever, now, on earth we have a living prophet and apostles such which the prophets of old, to see the Church today and order the same organization that existed in the Church which Jesus Christ founded His first coming on earth. I really like to teach and also learn from the women in the Church. I am happy to know that my 7 year old daughter in addition to learning the gospel at home, she also taught in the Church with the class of children. People of all ages are welcome in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

How I live my faith

For nearly four years, just days January 12, 2008, I and my husband and some church members were returning from a convoy to the Temple of Caracas.Quando Guacepati on the road between Puerto Ordaz in Venezuela and the bus overturned on a curve, some people were injured, but the most serious problem was mine, where I had a Spinal Cord Injury TETRAPLEGIA.Segundo doctors I would only move his head and would breathe on the device straight out of my life. I was hospitalized almost 5 months, had a respiratory arrest, used tracheostomy, felt excruciating pain. The hardest of these was to have been 5 months without seeing or talking to my daughter who was 4 years old at the time. Today, contradicting everything the doctors said, do not need a respirator, partially I move my left arm and my right arm can have greater mobility with the thumb and forefinger of his right hand and use the type you have sensitivity computador.Não and no movement of the chest down. Early on I did not accept the fact that a tetraplegia, for me life had acabado.Mas, after many tears, many prayers, much study of scripture and when I could go to church again hope sprang in my heart. Before the accident, I took classes from Tuesday to Friday for youth 14 to 17 years in the seminary and called on Sunday in Sunday School I was teaching a class of married and single adult members over the age of 18 anos.Todas these classes I taught was a volunteer service and made all of the heart. I never thought I could teach and have any other type of service voluntário.Atualmente, I am a leader of the girls aged 12 to 17 years Young Women president. Faced with this adversity, many people would be bitter and wondering why it tudo.Eu can say that my testimony today, my faith and my courage is much greater than before the acidente.Essa is the way of HOW I LIVE MY FAITH.
