Hi I'm Dave

Born and raised in Utah. I'm a husband, father, and dental student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Born and raised in Utah. I grew up loving the outdoors whether it was camping, hunting, playing sports or even just mowing the lawn on a Saturday. I am married to a beautiful and sweet woman (still don't know how I convinced her) and we have a darling little boy. I love spending time with them and playing with them. Currently I am attending dental school. I enjoy learning but also can't wait to have more time to spend with family and to not have test and other deadline constantly looming over my head.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a Mormon but soon had to learn of the gospel for myself and gain my own testimony of its truthfulness. I have seen the gospel change my life and the lives of others. God's Plan of Happiness and how we can return to him with our families for eternity is amazing. Nothing else can possible bring more true joy then by following his teachings and living his gospel. I served a mission in the Philippines for 2 years and loved watching the happiness come into the lives of the people I taught and watching there happiness grow. Now that I have my own family, I couldn't imagine spending eternity without them. I brings me so much happiness to know that if I am true and faithful I can be with them forever. I have felt my Heavenly Father's love for me on many occasions and I know that He is aware of me and my needs, desires and wishes. I'm so thankful for His plan which provided a way for me and all mankind to return to him. That way is through the atoning sacrifice of his son Jesus Christ. Through faith, repentence, baptism by water and the receiving of the Holy Ghost we start our journey back to him. Then after er endure to the end He will bless us with all that He has. I'm a Mormon because I have prayed and received an answer to my own personal pray that this is His gospel and that this is his plan for us.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being trying to be the best husband and father that I can be first and foremost (notice I said try, I mess up a lot). I love spending time with family and helping my boy learn and grow. Playing with him everyday is a moment I cherish. I try to live my faith by doing the little things ever day, just getting up and doing the best with the time that is given me.
