Hi I'm Andrea

I love to sing, listen to music, and travel. I enjoy laughing and having fun. I love my life, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student currently studying early childhood education. After I graduate, I hope to become a preschool teacher and work with young children. I come from a big family and love having them in my life. I love my friends and the good examples that they have been to me. Music is a huge part of my life and it is something that brings me happiness. I practically live and breath music. I have sung my whole life, played the piano and flute for many years and recently learned how to play the guitar. It is a dream of mine to one day be able to travel to Europe. I would also love to go to Africa and participate in some form of community service. I love my life and I appreciate the beautiful things that God has created for His children. I love the sunshine and making people happy.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am fortunate enough to have been blessed with a loving family who made it possible for me to have this gospel in my life. As I have grown in the gospel, I have been able to gain a better understanding of the knowledge of the Lord's true church on the earth today. I can say that I am a Mormon because I know that I am a daughter of God and that I lived with Him before coming to earth. I know that my faith can carry me through the trials that I will have in this life. Heavenly Father hears and answers my prayers and He knows me. I know that if i rely on my Heavenly Father, He will guide me through this life and one day I will be able to return to live with Him again. I have a commitment to the Lord to follow him and I know that if we listen to the promptings of the Spirit, we will be lead to the truth. I am a Mormon because having the gospel in my life has brought me so much happiness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church weekly and exercising my faith in Christ. I support and sustain all church leaders and strive to fulfill my church callings. I try to find the light in darker situations and hope that that light will shine to those around me. I stand as an example of Christ and always try to be the best that I can be. I want to be the person that my Heavenly Father knows that I can be.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

We can increase our faith in Jesus Christ by realizing the important role he plays in our lives. If we realize that the Lord has a hand in all things, than we can easily see that he exists and had a part in our creation. In the Bible Dictionary found in the scriptures, under faith we find that "Miracles do not produce faith but strong faith is developed by obedience to the gospel of Jesus Christ in other words, faith comes by righteousness." Faith is like a seed, and if we plant it and continue to water it and care for it continuously, that seed will grow. We can help that seed to grow by reading the scriptures and seeking to know the truth of its words. We have been given these words to help us in this day, therefore it is so important that we rely on the words of the prophets and prophets of old. Another way in which we can help our seed to grow is by showing obedience. If we follow the words of the prophets and all church leaders, we will know how to live a life that is in accordance to that which the Savior desires for us. Also, we can prayerfully seek for answers. If we put in an effort to know the truth, the Savior will help us to know that which is right. He loves us and wants the best for us. Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father want more than anything for us to succeed. They want us to develop a faith in them, and if we study His words, and have a desire to believe in Christ, we will be able to grow in faith. Show more Show less
