Hi I'm Bob

I grew up in California, I work in IT, managing projects around the world. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm an avid hiker and fly fisherman. Father of 6 and Grandfather of 3. I enjoy the outdoors and traveling as much as I can.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the LDS church when I was 20 years old. After meeting with the missionaries and reading much of the Book of Mormon, I had a strong feeling that the things things they taught were true, and that I would be blessed for following those teachings. That was over 30 years ago. I've had many challenges and lived through many changes in those 30 years. Looking back at this point, my life has been blessed for following those teachings.

How I live my faith

There are a pair of widows in our neighborhood that I am "assigned" to visit with each month. Actually, its more of an honor. My wife and I spend time visiting them, see to their needs and help them stay involved in the community.

Are Mormons Christians?

I grew up in the Episcopal Church, and married a Catholic girl. When I learned about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I found it in harmony with what I had learned being a Christian was as a child. In joining the Church, my feelings and understanding of being Christian continued to grow. I am very much a follower of Christ. Show more Show less
