Hi I'm Chase

I'm a Father. I'm an aspiring Podiatrist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a very small town in the wonderful province of Alberta, Canada close to the USA border. I spent the first 22 years of my life in Canada and then moved south of the border to go to school where I met my beautiful wife. We have been married for 6 years and we have 3 kids, 1 girl and 2 boys. I am currently starting my 3rd year of podiatry school at Temple University in Philadelphia. My family and schooling keep very busy but when I do have some spare time I like playing basketball and the drums. We love Philadelphia and are very excited for the temple to be dedicated here this September. What a great experience it has been to be able to move across the country from Southern California and experience all of what the east coast of the United States has to offer!

Why I am a Mormon

Jesus Christ is the only way back to our Heavenly Father. The Book of Mormon is the word of God along with the Bible, as far as it is translated correctly. Joseph Smith is a Prophet of God and I know this because the Holy Ghost has taught me this through the feelings I have had in my heart and through the thoughts that have come into my mind. This witness that I have received has helped me come to more fully understand how much God loves us and in turn has given me a great desire to love Him back and to follow His commandments.

How I live my faith

I have the wonderful opportunity to work with the 13-14 year old boys in our church. We meet every Sunday to learn from each other about Jesus Christ and His gospel and how we can apply His teachings more effectively in our lives each week. Every Wednesday night we also meet and participate in activities that help us build friendships and strengthen each other. Some of the activities we do include, going on hikes, going camping, playing sports, cooking classes, service projects, career workshops, and being actively engaged in the scouting program. They are such great young men and it is a privilege and a blessing to serve amongst them.
