Hi I'm Mark Marrott

I grew up all over the U.S. I am a disabled athlete who loves to handcycle. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have always loved the outdoors; from camping, fishing, hiking and hunting my family finds time to experience the beauties around us that Heavenly Father created. Having spent most of my life looking for opportunities to be outside that did not changed after the accident that left me wheelchair bound. I still love to fish and camp and have added to my hobbies handcycling. My wife and I are parents of three great sons, one in college, one on an LDS mission, and one in the USMC.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, but when I was 18 yrs old I reached the point that I needed to find out for myself whether the church was true or not. Over the next several weeks of study and prayer I received the answer that would guide and direct my life. I have a deep conviction of Jesus Christ as my Savior. I received my testimony of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon during those weeks of study. The comfort I find in the knowlege of our Father in Heavens plan and my role in that brings me great peace.

How I live my faith

One of the things I enjoy doing in the church is to teach. I find that I learn so much while preparing lessons for the youth or adult classes. We try to find ways to have a home where others can feel the spirit and know that we have a Christ centered home. I strive to live in a way that others either recognize that I am a member of the church or are not suprised when they learn it.
