Hi I'm Zach Patterson

I farm in Idaho. I have a beautiful family that I love very much. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have four children that are all awesome. I have a very supportive and loving wife. I enjoy to work on our farm. We have cattle, sugar beets, hay, wheat, and corn. If I get any free time in the summer, my favorite thing to do is golf. In the winter time we are surrounded by mountains that I get to go snowmobiling on if the cows will let me leave for a day.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love my family. God has a plan for us that allows me to be with my wife after we die. This knowledge gives me comfort and helps keep me focused on the things that are most important. The teachings of the church help me to make better decisions that bring me happines. We have prophets, apostles, local leaders who love us and help us. It is a great support system in raising a family. I am a Mormon because I believe in Jesus Christ. He is the head of this church. In the church we are taught of his grace, his mercy and his love for us. We are taught from the Bible, the Book of Mormon, and from words of modern day prophets of the mission of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

In the church we are asked to give of our time, but we are also expected to live a balanced life. I try to live my faith by smiling and being a happy person. I try to follow Christ's example and help people who are in need of help. I am nice to my children and my wife. I pray and teach my children how to pray. We go to church for 3 hours every week on Sunday. I aslo have been asked to be a secretary in my church. I do not get paid and it takes me an additional 4 hours each week to do it.
