Hi I'm Jason Howell

I'm a husband, a father, and a human resources specialist. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love my wife, three kids, and spicy food. I'm a Maryland resident, but also an Arizona native with country roots. I graduated from William & Mary Law School in 2012. I'm an employee of the Federal Government, but I'm not red tape. I'm a husband, I'm a father, I'm a Federal HR Specialist, and I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I believe that by following Jesus Christ I can find happiness in this life, and can live with the people I love forever in the life to come. Because all people are children of God, He cares immensely about the relationships that we form with each other and how we treat one another. The Mormon church teaches me to love and respect others, and it helps me to be a better person by teaching me and motivating me to make and keep commitments to God, my family, and myself. It offers me hope that even though I am imperfect I can become better.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be the best person I can be. I'm an imperfect husband and father, but I take family responsibility seriously, and I love my family passionately. I serve in my congregation helping new members and people who are investigating the church to feel welcome and involved. I'm also responsible for helping the full-time missionaries and church members to share their faith in God with friends and neighbors in our community. I believe that living my faith requires me to serve others, to honor the commitments I've made to myself, to God, to my family, and to others. It means being a good employee, a good neighbor, and a good citizen.
