Hi I'm Seth

I love books and languages. I've helped teach ESL classes on two continents and hope to continue traveling. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a son, brother and uncle. I love to read and even write my own stories. I enjoy any type of creative expression, whether it's music, art or dance. I also love learning how to talk to people from other parts of the world. I learn to love their culture, their ways of life and the people themselves. I also enjoy helping those who have come to my part of the world, to help them get settled and oriented.

Why I am a Mormon

No matter how creative Joseph Smith might have been, I know for myself that the Book of Mormon and his subsequent revelations were not his own, but were things revealed to him by God. I know this by having read, pondered and prayed upon the truths taught therein and having felt confirmation from the Holy Ghost that they were true and from Him. Having put the lessons I learned into practice in my own life, I have seen the hand of the Lord bless me and guide me through hard times.

How I live my faith

Currently I'm attending a small Spanish-speaking congregation of our church, helping out in any way that I can and trying to welcome all the newcomers that we find. The congregation is still new, but it is growing as word gets out to the spanish-speaking members in the area that we finally have meetings in their own language. Once this congregation is settled, I might go back to an English-speaking congregation where I had helped the missionaries find, teach and baptize those interested in the gospel.
