Hi I'm Robert

I'm a husband, father, and an engineer. I love the outdoors, rock climbing and mountain biking. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of seven children in my family. I served a two-year church mission in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I graduated college with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. I've been married for over four years now and we have a beautiful daughter. I love being outdoors and being active. I love hiking, camping, rock climbing, mountain biking, and playing most sports. I also love listening to music, watching movies, and playing games. Mostly, I love spending time with my family, immediate and extended.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church. My mother's parents joined the church before they were married and my father's ancestors joined the church during the time of Joseph Smith. Growing up, I always felt the Gospel of Jesus Christ taught in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was true. In my teens, I took it upon myself to find out for myself if it really was true. I prayerfully read and studied the Book of Mormon, and I followed Moroni's admonition to pray and ask my Heavenly Father if it was true. I testify that as I sincerely desired to know the truth, and prayed in faith, the witness of it's truth filled my heart. As I live my life, I know that I am happier, a better husband and father, a better employee, and overall a better person as I follow the commandments and continually try to follow the Savior's example. As I make time to study the scriptures and the words of the Living Prophet, and stay close to the Spirit, I feel more strength and peace to overcome life's challenges. I know this Gospel is true.

How I live my faith

I try to live my life in a way that I can be an example of living a Christ-like life to my family, friends, coworkers and neighbors. I try to not be ashamed of my beliefs and share them with those around me. I am currently helping the full-time missionaries coordinate the missionary work with the Church in my area. I also spend time with my family every day praying and reading the scriptures. I enjoy teaching my daughter about our Savior Jesus Christ and how we can be happy in this life.
