Hi I'm Maggie

I grew up in Frederick Maryland on a small farm and I love art. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just finished my second year of college. I studied spanish and tried to keep an art class in every semester. I plan to teach English as a Second Language when i graduate. I love art, doodling and cartooning. I LOVE to snowboard, although I am still learning. I am the 5th of 8 children and we are all pretty crazy in our own way. While I am back home for the summer I am preparing my papers to serve an 18 month mormon mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. Both of my parents were baptized into the church when they were in their early 20s so I grew up a mormon. I am so grateful for their faithfulness in teaching their children the truths that this gospel teaches about life. As I have applied the teachings of my parents and what I have learned while attending church in my life, I have come to know for myself that the Lord Jesus Christ loves me and each of his children. I know that he lives and that he has a plan for me. I am not alone in this world as sometimes the adversary would want us to believe. I know that as I remain faithful to the commandments that our Lord has given us to follow, I am blessed and I am able to do far better things than I knew that I could do.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to do what the Lord would want me to do. I try to serve my family and to tell them that I love them every day. I visit with my grandmother and listen to her priceless life stories. I attend church every week and have been given the calling to be a ward missionary. This means that I help members of the church to share the gospel with their friends or those that are looking for something more in their lives. I also help fellowship new members of the church to let them know they have a friend and introduce them to other members of the church.
