Hi I'm Jill B.

I am a born city girl, a farmers wife of 16 years, a mother of 6 1/2 little rascals, and I love to laugh. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a city and moved away to attend college just after I turned 19. It was there that I met my farmer husband who was ready to graduate and we were married and moved before I ever even attended. We were blessed with our first baby girl while he finished his degree and though it wasn't easy, it was so worth it! Sixteen years and six children later we are now preparing for another blessed addition to our family this fall. During the course of our marriage we have faced numerous challenges that have shaped and molded me into who I am today. We have had to dig ourselves out of unwise financial decisions founded in greed, uprooted our family following employment, and faced disease that has altered my priorities and blessed me with perspective. Looking back I wouldn't change a thing. Through blessings and trials I have come to rely deeply on my Father in Heaven, and drawn closer to His son, Jesus Christ. I love to laugh and try to find the joy in both challenges and blessings.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel of Jesus Christ has given me hope in a world losing hope, joy in a world filled with grief and pain, and faith in a plan of happiness that has taught me who I am, that I have a purpose here, and that I will be with my family for all eternity. It has given me strength through trials bigger than myself, and kept my feet firmly planted in eternal principles of truth.

How I live my faith

I have a desire to help and serve those around me, whether it's tending to the daily needs of a large family, taking a meal to the sick, helping others with their children, or visiting those who need a friend. I currently teach young women on Sunday and love seeing the light in their eye and the joy on their face as they learn and apply the teachings of the Savior of the world. I give all that I have to my husband and my family each and every day.
