Hi I'm Bill.

I'm a Mormon. I'm a husband and father of five. I teach Spanish at a local college. I joined the LDS Church when I was 17.

About Me

I'm married and have 5 kids. I love being with my family. I enjoy sports in almost every form and have coached my kids in baseball, basketball and soccer. I speak Spanish and a little Portuguese. I lived in Chile for 2 years as a missionary. i grew up in California and have lived in Utah and Pennsylvania as well. I love to bake goodies for my friends and family. I'm a language teacher by profession. I have a good sense of humor and don't take myself too seriously.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because people who love me gave me a Book of Mormon. I read it and felt something. I decided to ask God if the Book of Mormon was true and felt that he answered my prayers. I continued to learn more about a church that claimed to have a living prophet and the same priesthood and organization that Christ gave to his apostles. The blessings I have received from the Gospel of Jesus Christ have been amazing, first among these the blessing of having the promise from God that I can be with my family eternally.

How I live my faith

I have tried to live my faith by serving others where I am asked to serve by inspired leaders. I also seek out opportunities to help others that I see in need. I have helped the youth in my area with their activities and scouting, help ed others learn more about faith, served in leadership positions and helped in the nursery. It doesn't really matter what the job is, if I'm needed I know I can do some good.
