Hi I'm Bill

I have a great family. I love everything outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born on an Air Base in Japan. I am married and have 4 great kids. I love everything that you can possibly do outside from fishing and hunting to just going on a ride on the motorcycle. I feel that one of Gods greatest creations is nature, so I love to be in it. I sell insurance for living.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it feels right. When I was first introduced to the church, I felt like all of my questions about life had an answer, or a place where I could find the answer. I feel like I am a part of a gospel family now that I never felt like before. Each peice of the puzzle seems to fit and each new peice finds it place perfectly. I know the church is the true church on the earth because of the feeling that comes over me when I am surrounded by it.

How I live my faith

I enjoy going to church each week. I try to live by the commandments as best I can. I know that I am not perfect, but the gospel helps me to improve on all aspects of my life, whether it be family, personal or through service to others. I am greatful to my Savior. His sacrifice for me allows my faults to be forgiven and helps me to try harder.

Why do Mormons perform proxy baptisms in their temples?

Bill
For me, it makes the gospel much sweeter. Because I am a convert to the church, none of my family before me were members. Because i believe that we all have to be baptized by someone with the proper authority, those family members of mine that have already died would not have that chance if it weren't for proxy baptisms in the Temple. It is a great joy for me to go to the temple and be baptized in place of my ancestors. the feeling I get of closeness to those people and the closeness of the Spirit lets me know that it is right. Because of this great blessing, families truly can be together forever. Show more Show less
