Hi I'm Jennie

I love learning and life! I am a wife and mother of 3. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to my best friend. We have 3 amazing kids. I love life. I love the sunshine. I love being outdoors. I enjoy learning and spending time with sincere and interesting people. I love being with my family more than anything in the world. I love watching my children play, learn and grow. To me, each day, each moment, is a precious gift.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a Mormon and my testimony of faith, repentance and of Jesus Christ took route at a very young age. I have never doubted my knowledge and love of Jesus Christ. I have always known that I have a loving Father in Heaven who listens to my prayers and who knows me individually. My testimony of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (also known as "The Mormons") gradually continued to develop as I grew and struggled through my teen years. In college I believe I questioned my faith (which is not unusual during this period of life) but I clung to the surety of my love for Jesus Christ and my desire to know and to live truth. At the age of 21 I had strong promptings from Heavenly Father to serve an 18 month mission. While serving this mission I gained a surety, a depth of understanding about our Heavenly Father's love for me, and for all of his children, which surpassed all my understanding. This understanding came through overwhelming physical feelings in my heart and mind. Feelings I had never experienced, in that way, up until that point in my life. I had one particular experience while teaching about The Prophet Joseph Smith that I will never forget. I was teaching a perfect stranger about a young boy who saw God The Father and His son Jesus Christ, and I remember thinking--this must sound so strange to someone unfamiliar with our faith, when again I had an indescribable witness in my heart and mind that the things I was teaching are true. I am a truth seeker. I love The scriptures. I know that the same organization which existed in the Primitive church still exists today. That exact organization is found in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Heavenly Father is the same yesterday, today and forever. His truths are unchangeable. We each must seek and find truth for ourselves. I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the only true and living church upon the earth. Seek and ye shall find...

How I live my faith

I try to be an example of the believers in everything I do; in the way I dress, in the way I act and most particularly in the things I chose to do when I am with my own family or by myself. I try my hardest to get to know and to serve my neighbors. I encourage children in every capacity that I can. I try to be honest in everything I do and say (or don't say). I try to walk through life with a soft, humble and teachable heart and try to improve myself in every way that I can. I love my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and this effects every aspect of my life, every interaction that I have with another human being because I know that they are also a child of God. In the words of a great King read about in The Book of Mormon, "Are we not all beggars? Do we not all depend on the same God for both food and raiment..." That is me. I'm a Mormon and loving life!
