Hi I'm Francis.

Im from Samoa, I join the church in 2009. Im silisili malosi at rugby, i love vollyball, chicken and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Samoa all my life, its a beautiful place, i love to go fishing and hunting, there is alot of things to catch in Samoa, lots of food. I love my family and spending time with them and my friends. After a long day of work we play vollyball and relax on the beach. Right now i am serving as a full-time volunter missionary for the church in Australia, the gospel has blessed my life and i love to share it with others.

Why I am a Mormon

When i was younger i would see the missionaries around my home town and i dident really understand what they did but i did'nt like the missionaries, i had herd some things about the church that was not true, i thought 'mormons' were bad people. One day, one of my friends who was a mormon invited me to come play vollyball with him and some of his other friends at the church, i did'nt want to go to their church but i did want to play vallyball, so i decided to go along. After actually meeting with and talking to real mormons i found out the truth about what they believed and who they are,the bad things that others had told me were lies. My friend invited me to church and i accepted his invitation. The first time i attended 'The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints' i felt something i had felt before, the spirit of God, it was strong. Eventually i decided to meet with the missionaries and learn more about the church. They came to my home and sat down with me, we would talk about the gospel of jesus christ, they answered my questions and taught me the special message known as 'The restoration of the gospel' I lernt how god had called a prophet today and was teaching us today about him through living prophets, just like the christians in the bible. I prayed to know if the things i had lernt were true and i received a confirmation from God, throught the holy spirit (also known as the spirit of truth) that what i had been told was the truth and that 'The church of jesus christ of latter-day saints' was God's true church on the earth again.

How I live my faith

I pray everyday and attend church meeting. And also love going out and help the children of God to follow the right path.
