Hi I'm Chris

I am a chemical engineer, I love my family, I enjoy sports, and I am a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

About Me

I am a college student and studying chemical engineering. Although school takes up most of my time, playing sports is a passion of mine and I strive my hardest to be the best that I can in all that I do. I've learned however, that although both school and sports are great activities, there are even more worthwhile things to dedicate ourselves to. Living the Gospel of Jesus Christ and serving our Heavenly Father are more meaningful and bring more lasting happiness than any worldly success or enjoyments can.

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ because it helps me realize why we are all here on this earth, and where we are going. Knowing this brings purpose and direction to my life. Life doesn't always work out for us, and it is often difficult and unfair, however, living the Gospel of Jesus Christ brings us peace. It won't always fix everything, but no matter what is happening in our lives, by living the Gospel, we can have an assurance that what is waiting for us in the NEXT life is worth all of the struggles we are going through in THIS one.

How I live my faith

I love my Savior and show my faith in Him by trying to be like Him. Studying about Jesus Christ each day in the scriptures helps me understand what changes I need to make in my life in order to become Christlike. I'm not perfect and often the things I feel I need to change are things I don't want to change. But that is how I can truly show my faith. By giving up those things that hold me back from being like our Savior. I truly hope that one day I can be like Him in my thoughts, words, and actions.
