Hi I'm Parker

I'm a Mormon. I am a wildlife biologist, a dog trainer, and outdoors-man, husband, father, and child of God.

About Me

Since I can remember I have always been drawn to animals and the outdoors. As a child I spent as much time as I could out side and if there was an animal near by, it was my job to mess with it. I suppose there are some things we never out grow because now I am outside chasing critters for a living! My hobbies of hunting, fishing, hiking, and dog training all keep me closely involved with animals and the outdoors. I have been married since 2000, and my wife and I are finally expecting our first child after many years of trying. I am so excited to enter this chapter of my life--I have waited a long time for it. I would not have traded the past 11 years of just me and wife time, we have learned so much and have grown very close together, and our dogs have filled the kid void for sometime. We are ready for 2 legged kids of the human sort now!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into an LDS ("Mormon") home. I was raised with these principles, but there cam a time I needed to find out for my self. I visited other churches with my friends, and I never felt as whole as I did when I went to an LDS church. I decided before I committed fully to serving a mission for the church I better find out for sure if I was going to be teaching people the truth. I studied it out and asked the Lord if it was true, he answered, it is!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to treat others the way I would want to be treated my self, the way Christ would treat others. I serve my Heavenly Father by serving others. I currently teach an early morning bible study or seminary to high school age kids in my home. I also serve in working with the young men in the church as a counselor in the young mens organization. My wife and I love working with the youth, we both consider ourselves to be youth still in many ways! We serve in any other capacity that we can both in church and in the community.
