Hi I'm James

I'm a Husband, Father, Security Engineer and I'm Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and father of 4 children of my own and a step-child. I have served in the US Army and I have two degrees in Computer Science. I love to be outdoors and go hiking and camping. I love my family and my wife and children are my best friends in life. I am a security engineer and love computers and everything you can do with them. I currently work for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and love the opportunity I have been given to provide the church with my talents and skills. Our Heavenly Father has blessed me these talents and skills and I love being able to use them to help hasten His work.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in to the LDS Church, but left for a time. I returned when I shared the gospel with my wife and she decided to join the church. The church has become a big part in my life and I love the gospel and it's principals. I didn't understand the church and it's teachings when I was younger. This made it easy for me to fall away. Since my wife's decision to join the church I have grown in the church and now I know for myself that this is the only true church on the face of the whole earth. I know that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God and that we have a living prophet on the earth today, Thomas S. Monson. I know that Jesus Christ lived on this earth and is the son of our Father in Heaven. I know that He died for our sins and because of the Atonement we can be forgiven of our sins through repentance. I love my family, Christ, our Father in Heaven, and the LDS Church. I know that the gospel is true and that it has the power to change lives for the better. And these things I say in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by serving others and in church callings. I have served in many positions with the youth in my wards. I have also served as a membership clerk and a ward clerk. Serving with the Bishop as a ward clerk was one of the greatest experiences of my life so far. As I live the teachings of this church I feel a greater desire to share the gospel with others and I try to do that.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

If you believe in Christ and wish to increase your faith in Him then follow His commandments. Study the scriptures and pray to Him. As you do these things you will begin to see His work more and more in your life and your faith in Him will grow. Show more Show less
