Hi I'm Heidi

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of three daughters, I am a florist, and a real estate investor. My husband and I love to restore old homes. I enjoy camping, fishing, and landscaping.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because of the peace, direction, and answers that the church offers me. I grew up as a Mormon, but I had many friends of other faiths. As we grew and questions would come to my mind and as I would discuss them with my friends I would realize that the LDS church had many more answers for me than other religions. I enjoy knowing what my purpose in life is, where I came from and what happens to us after this life. I take great comfort in knowing that God has a plan for our families to be together after we die. My first husband died a day after my 21st birthday. I spent a lot of time in prayer because I wanted to know for sure that what I was taught was true, that I could be with him again after this life. The peace that came to my life at that time and in times of trial since then has given me the strength to go on and love my life and the trials and learning experiences. Most of all it makes me happy to be close to my Heavenly Father and my Savior. My life would be empty without them.

How I live my faith

I am the president of the organization that teaches children ages 3-12 in our Church. We have a two hour time period every Sunday to learn the gospel of Jesus Christ together with these wonderful young people. We get to sing songs, do fun activities, and learn of Jesus. I also get to go visit ladies in my neighborhood every month to see how they are doing. We network together to make sure families are well taken care of and are there for each other in times of trial. I have family night with my cute girls and husband once a week. We take turns singing songs, having a fun family activity, read our scriptures and eat treats! We reserve Monday night for each other and it is our favorite day of the week.
