Hi I'm Rebecca

I'm a mom of 3 boys. I'm a Registered Dietitian. I'm an Army Vet and my hubby & I own a Firearms Training Center. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Due to several crazy circumstances, my original college plan didn't work out for me. Instead I found myself in the Early Commissioning Program at a small military junior college. I walked away with an Associates degree, a commission in the United States Army, and the love of my life. (My hubby and I eloped 3 months before graduation). We finished our bachelor's degrees at a larger university, served our commitment as officers in the Army, and are now raising 3 boys. After serving the Army as a Dietitian, I use my knowledge in human nutrition to keep my family healthy. We now own a firearms training company (where I let my husband do most of the work :).

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Mormon church, but just like everyone else I got to a point where I had to figure out if it was worth it to me to continue to following the teachings that I had been raised with. As I searched the teachings of my church and other religions, nothing made more sense to me than the Mormon church. Every so often when life gets difficult and I wonder about what I'm doing with my life I just reflect back on that moment when I knew that this is where I belong.

How I live my faith

Our faith is reflected in every little thing we do. It is seen in how we treat others, what entertainment we choose, and how we raise our children. We hope the light of Christ is reflected in our daily actions and not just our words. We hope that no matter who we encounter, that they leave us thinking that that is a good person, an honorable person, a person who they can trust.
