Hi I'm Erin

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Erin. I am going to school to become a Medical Assistant. I love art and music. I play guitar and sing. My favorite thing ever is when someone can make me laugh. Not a polite laugh, but truly laugh. I have been LDS all my life, and I was baptized at the age of 9. I work with people who are handicapped. They are the loves of my life. I am currently single, but I'm young, so I have time. I believe God has a plan for each of us, and He loves us all dearly!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I was taught by the missionaries when I was 9. I think some people don't understand that the Holy Ghost doesn't care how old you are, where you live, how you grew up, etc. He only tries to help us remember who we are, and we are God's children. I am a Mormon because I believe families are forever. I always want to cry when I hear "til death". I don't want to just have one life and that's it. I don't think we could only be here by incident, and just live to die and not go anywhere. I believe that we have two Divine Beings who created us in their image, and want us to be like them. I'm a Mormon because I have a living Savior who loves me and loved me enough to die for me, and still loves me because He does live again. He can fix anything. I'm a Mormon because I believe God continually gives us direction and guidance through our prophets, who hold His keys to our church. i'm a Mormon, because I feel truth and Divine love in this church. I am apart of something bigger than this earth, and we are all equally important to our Father.

How I live my faith

I am apart of our Activities committee in my young single adults ward, and I am also the head of our Service activities. I feel like I am apart of my community when I get to help plan events for the young singles in my ward. This summer, our committees are focusing on becoming unified, and trying to become more like a "family". We want to truly get to know each other, so we can help each other learn and grow, and become closer to our Savior. Getting married is important, but we also want to focus on making ourselves better, so that when we meet a good person, we can be prepared to be worthy to marry in our Lord's temple for time and all eternity.
