Hi I'm Gabriel.

I'm a Mormon. I have been many things, including a sports broadcaster, an attorney, and a translator. And I love being a Mormon.

About Me

I am a son, a husband, and a father who enjoys many things, including soccer, reading, movies, and spending time at home with my family. I have lived in several countries, speak three languages, and am going on my fourth college degree. Professionally, I have been a translator, interpreter, attorney, sports broadcaster, and college professor. All in all, there have only been two constant things in my life: my family and my religion. No matter where I am, what language I speak, or what I am doing, I always know two things: I will eventually come home to my family and I have my religion to guide me.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe it. I believe The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to be everything it claims it is, i.e., to be the restored Church of Jesus Christ upon the earth. This belief is rooted on my study of the LDS message, particularly as found in The Book of Mormon, and in my prayerful seeking for answers from God. As I prayed, I received answers from God. This I cannot deny any more than I can deny my own existence. And that is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith at home and outside of the home. I don't drink, smoke, do drugs, etc. I go to Church on Sundays. I read the Scriptures. I pray. In essence, I try to live up to the standards of someone who belongs to the Church of Jesus Christ. Am I perfect in this regard? No, but every day I give it a good try. And that, in the long run, is what makes the difference.
