Hi I'm Danielle

I'm a philanthropist. I love to laugh. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I'm a recent college graduate and newlywed. I am currently working in the nonprofit sector and love that I can devote my time to helping others, even if it is somewhat indirectly. My hobbies are reading, singing, hiking and cooking. I'm interested in learning about health and new cultures. I'm currently learning guitar and my husband plays accordion, so it's fun at our house - and loud! My husband is hilarious and we love to laugh. At any given time you can find us making silly faces, making ridiculous puns (him), or quoting "A Christmas Story" (me).

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to be Mormon, not based on isolated events, but on the continuous outpouring of love, peace and comfort I feel as I pray, read the Book of Mormon and go to church. I also am devoted to the belief that we personally can have God answer our prayers through the spirit. At the very end of the Book of Mormon, we are told that we should ask God if what is in that book is true. I ask that question often and have always been given the same answer - it's true and it's another testament that Jesus Christ is our savior.

How I live my faith

I spend as much time as I can with my husband and building our relationship. We are looking forward to starting a family and know that our relationship and family are important in God's eyes. We know that we can be together eternally and we renew this faith by visiting the temple often. I attend church meetings, where I voluntarily teach 12-13 year old girls. We have silly moments and also spiritual moments. I hope to teach them that they are loved, they are beautiful, and they can find peace. I pray and read scriptures daily. I also strive to see everyone the way Christ does, which is easiest when you are serving them. I'm always looking for new service opportunities.
