Hi I'm Kaysha

I'm a Mormon. I'm a dancer, and I'm a college student.

About Me

I am member of a large family of five kids. Family is very important to me and I would do anything for them. I recently got married to my best friend in the Manti Temple. I enjoy dancing and it is definitely one of my favorite things to do. It is a good stress reliever for me and a way to express my feelings and emotions. When I hear music, I immediately think of dance, and how I would choreograph the song I'm listening to. I also love to read, anything from Harry Potter to a good Christian novel. I am currently a Sophomore in college studying to be an Ultrasonographer. I love babies, so I thought this would be the perfect job!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I've had experiences happen to me and prayers answered that are unexplainable unless this church is true. I remember specifically praying to find answers to things about the church and whether or not it was true, and I was lead to certain passages of scriptures that answered every question that popped into my head. This is when I knew the church was true. I was receiving a confirmation that everything I was praying about was true. It was absolutely amazing and unreal. I remember crying and thinking how amazing it was. From that moment on, I could not deny that this church is true, the experience and answers I got were too real.

How I live my faith

Right now I am a substitute for where ever the church needs me. I am living in New Jersey for the summer right now for my husbands summer job, so where ever they need us we go! We have gotten to teach Sunday School for the youth before and we loved it!! It was so much fun to teach them more about the church and have them teach us more in return. It is really refreshing to hear younger people's testimonies and have them strengthen mine. It is so neat how every age have something to teach one another.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

No! I am from Missouri, and recently there was a tornado only an hour away from my home which destroyed thousands of peoples lives and killed hundreds. Not many of those people were Mormons, but for the past few weeks there have been hundreds of Mormons there, my family included, cleaning up the damage and helping absolutely ANYONE, in any way they need it. Every person is a child of God, and this was a terrible tragedy that everyone needed help with despite their religious background. Show more Show less
