Hi I'm Sue

I love being with my family, blogging, riding my bike and laughing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My favorite thing in the world is my family. My husband and I have six kids. The 3 oldest ones (daughters) are attending college together. Our two oldest daughters served missions where they taught people about our church and what we believe. One served in Spain and the other served in Chile. We also have three boys ranging in ages 7-17. We love to be together and spend much of our free time together. We are certainly not perfect, but are trying to be good people. The gospel is a huge part of our lives.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because everything good in my life has come from God. When I live close to him by praying, studying his words and by doing my best to follow His teachings, He blesses me and helps me to have peace and happiness. I have been married to my husband for over 20 years. The gospel is uppermost in our lives and the lives of our children. We find the answers to life's challenges in the Bible as well as in the Book of Mormon. I believe that the Book of Mormon is a second witness of the Savior and that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is just that, Jesus Christ's Church. The same church that existed in Biblical times. Read the Book of Mormon for yourself and when you are finished sincerely ask the Lord if it's true and you can know for yourself. Being a "Mormon" has blessed my life.

How I live my faith

I believe that the most important job I have is that of being a true friend and companion to my husband and being a loving mother to my children. I receive so much joy from my family and I am so glad we have each other to lean on when life gets difficult. We all volunteer in our church. We believe that we are called by God to serve in various positions in the church. At the moment I serve the Young Women ages 12-18. I teach gospel lessons on Sundays and plan and carry out activities with them on Tuesday nights. Working with these young women has created in me a deep love and concern for them. They are wonderful and I feel confident that they will be great blessing to their communities and families when they are adults.
