Hi I'm Julie

I grew up in Georgia, USA. I am a wife and a mother. I like to do crafts. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am grew up in a small town in the southern part of the United States. I went to college in the west and got a degree in education. I am now a wife and mother of four. I love to read and do crafts. I like to be organized when I can. I love life!

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized when I was eight. I have always felt a closeness to the Lord because of the abundant blessings in my life. I have been surrounded by loving and caring friends and family who have also shared a love of the Savior. I'm a Mormon because it has always felt right. Every day my testimony gets stronger because I continually see the hand of the Lord in my life. The Church teaches us to always rely on the Lord, to always remember that the Savior is the way. I'm a Mormon because the Church's teachings help me feel happy and at peace.

How I live my faith

I try to read the scriptures and pray to our Heavenly Father daily. I go to church each Sunday. Not only do I use the Savior's teachings in my life but his teachings help each decision I make. My faith is not lived just on the Sabbath, my faith is manifest in every detail of my life.

Why is self-reliance important to Mormons? Why do Mormons talk about emergency preparedness?

Self reliance is important to Mormons because we a desire to help others. If we can't help ourselves, it hinders our abilities to help others. The Church teaches us to be prepared. If we are prepared, we shall not fear as the scriptures teach. Being prepared allows us to help others as well. Show more Show less
