Hi I'm Lowell

I live in Southern CA. I love playing sports in particular basketball and running. I sell insurance for a living, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I,m 46 years old and enjoy all kinds of sports. I love to run and play basketball. I am a native Californian and currently work for a State Farm Agent. I enjoy spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in a strong LDS family. I served a mission in St Louis, Missouri. Growing up in the church I always knew that the choice as to whether or not I was going to serve the Lord on a Mission was going to be hard. Before I went I did a lot of soul searching and praying. I came to know by the spirit that it was the right thing to do. My mission taught me many things and has led my on a path to be anxiously engaged in serving others. I felt the spirit of Christ many times on my mission and throughout my life. Before I got married I also did a lot of soul searching and praying. It was confirmed to me by the spirit of Christ that my wife and I should be married.

How I live my faith

I am currently the second assistant in the High Priests Group Leadership in my current ward; which means I help organize home teaching assignments and oversee other brethren in the people that they visit. I enjoy this responsibility to serve in the Lord's Kingdom. When we home teach we as brethren visit the homes of members and attend to their needs. We make sure all is physically and spiritually well. I have previously served in other callings that help me to serve in other ways. I try to regulary visit the Newport Beach Temple as often as I can, where I can serve those who have passed on.
