Hi I'm Talili Ah-Sang

Im a mother of five. I was born in Samoa in a small village called Sili Savaii. Im a Mormon

About Me

I am a mom of five beautiful angels two girls and three boys. Im married to my husband for time and eternity, We use to live in New Zealand for twenty years before we moved to Queensland Australia, It took us time to get use to the place and finding our new ward was easy because we contacted our bishop in New Zealand and he told us where to go and the address of our new chapel, I think its great that where ever we go we can always get in touch with the church and the members here are so great, we love that we made new friends and also meet new families that we didnt know excisted here how great is that when we come to a new place and trying to settle the children in school and find a home was so hard but I am glad that the church as always taught me how to be patient and comunicate with my heavenly father because it has helped me find everything that we need and only took us one month to settled, now we are enjoying life here and the children have now found many new friends in youth and primary and their new school. My husband has now found a new job which pays more than what he use to get before and he is so happy with it, I found other mothers who helped me with anything even sitting down for a cup of tea and talk about our lifes and I give all thanks to God for always looking after me and my family he always keeps his promise that everything will be ok and I love that he is always here pushing us along.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church in a very big family and my parents were active and love the church even though my dad was drinking and smoking he still got us kids to make time to read the book of Mormon and few years after that he stop both drinking and smoking because he finally realise it was a waist of time and money. My parents took us to sealed in the temple in 1983 and from then on my parents never looked back, their was nine of us kids and it was very hard for my parents to take care of us but I knew we were always happy and we always have so much fun on Monday nights when we have family home evening even if after that we were to share a small amount of dinner but we loved every minute of it. We would never miss church on Sundays because my parents always taught us that the highlight of Sunday is the Sacrement meeting and we should never miss that because we should always go to renew our governant with our heavenly father and also thank him for the Sacrifice. I think if the gospel wasnt present in my life I dont know where I would be now I love that all its teaching is about finding happiness in the family and it always challenge me to climp a little further, I love being a Morman because after all these years of my life I trully know that it is the only true church on this earth and I know this is where Im suppose to be with my family.

How I live my faith

I teach in youth age 14 and 15 in our ward I love that because not only I get the chance to teach but also study the scriptures. It also challenges me to stand up and talk about my savior Jesus Christ. I love my calling because the kids enjoy learning and they also enjoy asking questions about things that they need help with and having five kids of my own also helps answer those questions. Me and my husband help with youth activities when we have time because it is where we want to be and also our oldest daughter Cory Mable joined youth this year so it is a blessing to us to be with her to try and push her along with her journey being a great daughter of God. We tell some of our none member friends to join us on our ward activities so they can see how much fun we have on those days playing a game or just fellowshipping with other members, sometimes our none member friends find that it is fun and they get to see people they know who are members. I live my faith by being the person that I am and sharing my testimony about my Savior Jesus Christ and his great plan for us.
