Hi I'm Mark-Anthony

I grew up in the Philippines. I am the only member in my family. I have a lot of things that I want to do in life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently attending a Church-sponsored university. It is a long way from the Philippines and even a long ways from California where my family has moved. I enjoy studying people and how the circumstances around them form their decisions. Because of this, I am an History major. I have always liked helping people, sometimes to a point that I am taken advantage of, but for the most part, I like to see the good in people. I want to be a part of their progress. I think seeing someone grow as a person is the greatest thing that a person can experience. When I teach and I see my students strive to do better and achieve their goals, I feel like I have been a part of that as well. When I joined the Church in 2004, I never thought that I would have done any of the things that the Church has offered to me. My mission is my greatest treasure.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I believe that God loves each and everyone of us. He allows for us to experience many things so that we can seek Him out and have a relationship with Him. When I was growing up, I didn't have a personal relationship with Him. The lessons that I have learned stayed with me, but the new knowledge of God's divinity and my heritage as His son helped me see the truth in the teachings of the missionaries. We all want to be happy and real happiness was offered in His Church alone.

How I live my faith

I think you would have to ask me in person for the specifics of that!

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

No, and I think that is great. I have been able to be a part of the lives of many people as I serve them. Show more Show less
