Hi I'm Jose Campos

I'm a father, a grandfather, a runner and I love poetry. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Jose, I am Mexican, born in the state of Colima in 1956. I married my wife on December 30, 1978 in Coquimatlan Colima. I have four kids. I love to run long distances, and I love to go camping with my family and friends. We joined the church in December 1991 in CD Guzman Jalisco. 5 years later we moved to Colorado where we are now living happily.I have 5 grandchildren whom I love with all my heart.

Why I am a Mormon

For a long time I went to church regularly, but I decided to be Baptized when I decided to really listen the advice of the missionaries who told me to kneel and ask my Heavenly Father if it was true. Heavenly Father answered my prayers through the spirit, and he let me know what I had to do. Since then I have given my life to my Lord Jesus Christ who is my redeemer that I serve this day. I love him, he is who guide me in this journey to get back to my Heavenly Father for the eternities with my family whom I love very much. I know that this is Christs only true church and that this is the only path that I can follow to find pure happiness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving anytime that I am able to, with member and non members. I also live my faith by fulfilling my calling. I love to read the scriptures, and many church doctrine books and increase my knowledge about the Gospel. I try to strengthen my relationship with my Heavenly Father by praying. When I pray I feel his presence and I know that he hears my prayers. I live his commandments, which include loving my neighbors with all my heart as if they were my own sibling. I love to pray with my family, and also help them strengthen their relationship with God. I love the the calling that I have as a father, and I love the calling I have to serve my fellow brothers and sisters within the church. I feel the God's hand in my life constantly as he is always blessing me, and it encourages me to live a more worthy life, with pure happiness.
