Hi I'm Susan

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a single woman, a mother of a son 21 and daughter 23. I am a grandmother of a wonderful three year old boy. I am in real estate sales and love helping people with their needs. I love to water color paint and am very artistic. Reading is a passion of mine and someday I will write a book. Being with nature just takes my breath away. I love the trees and wildlife. I came from a big city knowing nothing of the gospel, landed in Southern California and was surrounded by members. I feel like a pioneer in these latter days. Somewhere along the way I grew a testimony. I've had many miracles in my life and know that my Father in Heaven and the Lord love me. I love the Temple and try to go there often. Being the only member of the church has been a challenge, however I know this church is true. The priesthood blessings that I have had have saved my life. I am so greatful for the priesthood and the gospel and can say that each day my testimony strengthens.

Why I am a Mormon

On my birthday some years ago, a very good friend gave me a set of scriptures. While reading them, it just hit me like a lightening bolt that the gospel was true and that this is Christ' true church. As I read the Book of Mormon I did what it suggests and prayed for the truth of whether the book was true or not. That day and many others, I received my affirmative answer. I love the gospel and know that anyone who wants to know if it is true all they have to do is pray and find the truth. Without it, I have felt that there was something missing in my life, I'll never be lost again.

How I live my faith

Helping others has always been part of my life. I have enjoyed housing the Missionaries in the past so that they could help spread the Word and teach the gospel. When a family is in need, I'll help in any way that I can. Having a love for my fellow man/woman has really enriched my life. Being in the Temple is such a blessing, I can leave the world and my worries at the door. My church calling is visiting teaching Supervisor with the sisters. Each sister is special and we are here to let them know how special they are and to spread a wonderful message to them.
