Hi I'm Manny

I'm from Ray Arizona. Ray Arizona is a ghost town. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I’m a husband, father, and grandfather all at the same time. I have been married 39 years. My youngest of seven grandshild is 10 days old. I am a theatre-leadership high school teacher/college professor who has taught for 38 years. Currently, I am semi-retired still teaching cinema/theatre classes. I am also an adult convert to the church joining when I was 24 years old. Both my wife and I were the only members of the church in both of our families.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was a teenager I began my quest to find the right church to join. I attended many different churches asking questions. It became clear that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, “Mormon,” was the church for me. The people were friendly and caring. I soon discovered that no matter where I went in the world members of the church would help me or my family anytime I needed. I also discovered that my prayers were answered in ways that brought a greater and more profound testimony of our Eternal Father in Heaven. I cannot imagine my life without the brothers and sisters I have met during my thirty-five years in the church.

How I live my faith

I have served my church in many ways over my 39 years of membership. I have been a missionary, youth leader, addiction recovery missionary and currently serve as a bishop. I have assignments in teaching and caring for several families within my congregation. It is a great blessing to be able to spend each and everyday of my life in service to those that have come to learn about and worship the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
