Hi I'm Mark

I raise livestock. I'm going to vet school. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have grown up raising calves and sheep. I enjoy working with my family out with the animals. I am going to vet school now and will finish in a couple of years. I plan on doing large animal paractice and working mostly on cows. I have been married for a couple of years and my wife and I are expecting our first child. We enjoy playing sports and spending time with family and friends. We have found great stability in our lives and our marriage as we have built them on the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in the church. Both of my parents were also and going back several generations, all have been members of the church. That being said I do not continue in the church because of my heritage. I have come to know for myself that this is Christ's church and he leads and guides it. As I follow the teachings found in His church I find peace, joy, and comfort. I know who I am as a son of God. I have come to know for myself that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and through him Christ restored his church. The greatest thing about all this is we can all find out and know for ourselves without having to rely on what we are told. As we pray with a real desire to know, which implies a willingness to follow what we find out, God will let us know what is true. He answers our prayers and He has answered min in regards to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I know this church is the true and living church of our Savior. He leads it through his prophet and all that is taught will lead us back to our Heavenly Father with our families.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to help and serve others. Our actions are a demonstration of our beliefs. Also in my ward I help teach and work with the young men. It is an awesome experience to serve them and help them solidify their testimonies of the Savior.
