Hi I'm Jerry

I grew up on a farm in Utah. After graduating from college in engineering I worked on the Apollo spacecraft. I am a Mormon.

About Me

Growing up on a farm was at times a challenge but I learned the value of work which was helpful throughout my professional career. My work on the Apollo spacecraft was an exciting and rewarding period in my professional career. After the Apollo program was completed I returned to Utah to be closer to my family. I was sealed to my childhood sweetheart in the Manti temple over 52 years ago. We have wonderful children and grandchildren and looking forward to seeing the great grandchildren come along. After retirement my eternal companion and I completed a mission together in New Zealand.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a good Mormon family and was baptized a member at 8 years old. Over the years I have had many experiences that have strengthened my faith in God and his plan of happiness for all of his children. I know God loves me and he sent is Son, Jesus Christ, to provide a way for me to return to my Father in Heaven after my work in this life is completed. I know that my family is an eternal family and we will be together eternally.

How I live my faith

As a Mormon there are many ways to demonstrate my faith through performing service in the church. All of my life I have actively participated in many different callings to serve including a mission, working with the youth, family history research, temple service, church administration positions. I strive to live the kind of life that God expects of me, to show kindness and follow the example of my Savior, Jesus Christ.
