Hi I'm Mark Allen Hobbins

I grew up in southern California. I love to scuba dive, wakeboard and spend time with my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I come from a big family, there are seven of us and I am number 5. There is nothing better than spending time with them and laughing together. Growing up, family has always come first. I have recently returned from a mission in Colorado. It was a great experience and I am grateful that I was able to go. Right now I am attending BYU and loving it. My dream is to become a pediatrician and one day have a family of my own. Life is good !

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church and come from a very active family. My parents are great examples and they have always been there for me. Growing up in the church was a great blessing. I had many friends who were there to support me and help me gain my own testimony. My testimony of the church continues to grow and grow but it did not come over night.I came to a point in my life where I didn't feel happy. I was confused about many things not to mention the struggles of teenage life. I remember one day where I felt I need to do change things and move on. I cannot tell you of the joy that has happened in my life because of a change that has taken place.God really loves us. I know that he loves me and that he really knows who I am and what I need. God knew I needed him and when I reached out to him he was there for me. Our father in heaven answered my prayers and helped me understand who he was and how I can feel his love everyday. My decision to be a member of the church is one of my greatest joys. True happiness comes only from god, and in his church I and you can feel it always.

How I live my faith

I strive to do things everyday that will help remind me of the savior and of our father in heaven. Praying, reading my scriptures and participating in my young single adult ward are a few of the things that keep me going. I know what its like to feel the love of god, and I want to feel that everyday. I live my faith because it's what I know to be true.
