Hi I'm Jacquelin Boza

I am adopted child. And I met the missionaries through my biological brother named Mario. Now, I am Mormon, too.

About Me

I am Peruvian and I like making others happy. I like using my hands to create new things. I do this for others. I know when we make things for others. I know when I make the best gifts for others using our abilities. When we use them, we need to be patient and hard working. If we share the best of us with others, we will be able to make all people around us happier. I have happy days when I do something for someone. I am confident that our way is full of opportunities to serve others. Our mission is to recognize those opportunities and to help others to be happy.

Why I am a Mormon

I decided to accept the gospel of Jesus Christ because through this Gospel I have got my eternal vision. As I learned its teachings, I have looked for means to follow the example of Jesus Christ. I know that is a hard work. But now there are important habits in my life, these are daily prayer, study the scriptures, and look for someone to serve. These habits help me to remember who is my best example. I know I can follow the steps of Jesus Christ everyday. Is possible that whole of my life is not enough to become like Him, but I know that for God my daily efforts are so important.

How I live my faith

As visiting teacher, we visit some people. They live near our houses. When we visit them, we share a message to increase the faith. We know that all of us need a friend, We offer our friendship and our help. If there are some important needs, we ask help to other. When we share our time to listen to those people, many times we realize that our challenges are small. This is a mean to serve others and to receive strengthen for our lives.

How are modesty and chastity related? How can parents teach their children to be modest in dress, language and behavior?

Jacquelin Boza
Through the modesty we show God how much we respect our bodies. As daughters of God have a divine value. Our bodies have a divine gift to become mothers. The true beauty is in innocence, purity, and tenderness. These are some characteristics that help us to be attractive for God and for our eternal husband. The chastity is a subject of purity in our thoughts and our acts. Since my childhood my mom taught me these things through her example. Her teaching was in silent, but evident unto my eyes.
