Hi I'm Ben

My dream is to change the world and to do that I must change myself and that's why,I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Orem Utah, I feel that my life has been unique. Ever since I was a little boy I have loved two things, My mother and America.I know that love is the most sublime of all human emotions. My dream in life is to change the world through the church and through government, the two being independent of each other. I believe that big things are of no value if the little things aren't smooth. Brotherhood and sisterhood are more important than profits and impressive stat sheets, in my mind.I marvel everyday at the blessing of having a body and being able to interact with family and friends. My favorite thing about being alive is feeling happy, hopeful, confident, and excited. I admire people who can carve ideas into my mind with imagery and flowing written words. I feel like my personality is that of an eastern city boy but with a western man's appreciation for the beauties of nature. In short I love life and am excited for what the future holds for all of us, as Mormons or good people in general.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I feel like this is God's church, I also think this.I love being a Mormon because it allows me to grow in every aspect of my life and feel like I am progressing spiritually as well. I have never witnessed such a charitable church and such a loving culture. I love to read the scriptures and put myself in the shoes of great people that served Christianity and their fellowmen so boldly. I can take confidence as I see the leadership of the church, as successful fathers, professionals, and church leaders passionately defend my values.I am convinced that being a faithful Mormon makes me a better person and that is what its all about.

How I live my faith

I just finished serving a full time mission in Guatemala and I am excited to apply some of the principles I learned as a missionary to blessing peoples lives right here in Utah. Community service is a large dimension of my faith and I plan to be involved in my community, I want to work with Spanish speaking students and help them become better students and learn English if they have not done so.I know that prayer is real and helps us remember god throughout our days and through our sleepless nights as well. I have faith that my hope in Christ will lead me to a better tomorrow and that if I continue to repent I will become a wonderful person and help others become all that they can. I go to church on Sundays because I know it is an important place for solemn reflection, re-dedication, and liberating religious expression.
