Hi I'm sharon

I'm a Navy veteran. I'm a cancer survivor. I'm a Daughter of God. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been a member my whole life, but just came back from being inactive for over 20 years. I'm the youngest of 6 and am currently the only active member in my family. Growing up I thought I was a good Mormon. Went to church every sunday. Attended seminary every day for 4 years during high school.Particated in our young womens program and went to girls camp. I thought that was enough. I never took the time to develop a relationship with my Heavenly Father or develop my own testimony. So after hitting rock bottom I discovered what I had been searching for was right in front of me.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I have a testimony that this is Jesus Christs church and that the Book of Mornon is true. I know what it is like to live without this truth and the misery that comes from it. I'm so very grateful for my saviors atoning sacrifice and that through him I can return to live with my Heavenly Father and my family for eternity.

How I live my faith

I try to be a better person every day and follow the perfect example of Jesus Christ. I love my church and my ward family. Currently I'm serving in our Young Womens program. I'm convinced that Heavenly Father has a sense of humor and is giving me a second chance to get things right. I love these girls and have learned so much from them. I try to read from the scriptures and pray daily. This has helped to build my testimony and increase my faith. I've recently started working with the sister missionary's. I love sharing the gospel with others.
