Hi I'm Christian

I'm from Utah, I work as a system engineer and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am a father of four wonderful children. My family and I enjoy hiking, wholesome recreation, and spending time in the great outdoors together. I like to play the piano, speak French, and meet people from other cultures. I enjoy running, swimming, doing my own car repairs, and solving challenging engineering problems (at work or at home).

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church because of the knowledge it gives me of my eternal purpose and identity, for the strength it gives me to face the challenges of life and because of the testimony I have gained of its truth. I am grateful to say that that knowledge of the truthfulness of our Savior's restored Gospel throughout all the experiences I have had since my youth has never left me but has become a brighter and brighter shining light in my life. This gospel has strengthened my family and helped us overcome many challenges, provided purpose and understanding, and has made us happier. I know that is only in and through Jesus Christ and his Gospel that we can have true and lasting joy. I feel it is through the Lord's help and through the power of prayer that I've been able to succeed in my life amidst trials and problems, and to find the peace I have now in my heart. I can't imagine where I would be without it. One of the great things about the Church is that one can investigate the Book of Mormon and learn more about truth of the restored Gospel for themselves. How I live my faith

I have served by playing the piano for the young children at our church and now serve by helping to keep church member's records up-to-date and provide other services to members to help them in their church responsibilities. I have exercised my faith to practice and improve my talents. I also serve by visiting the homes of a few families in our church each month. I seek to follow my Heavenly Father's will for my by sharing the Gospel with others who are interested and trying to do the things He would have me do to help and strengthen those around me. I seek to serve by being kind to those around me and by helping and comforting those in need. In essence, I try to follow and be like my Master and Savior, Jesus Christ, in all I do as I seek to live by the counsel of our modern-day prophet, Pres. Thomas S. Monson.

Are Mormons Christians?

Christian
I echo Pres. Hinckley's sentiments on this subject that members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints are absolutely Christians. Just look at the name of the Church or mine, for that matter . I am grateful to say that I have a vibrant knowledge of my Savior, of His plan for us, and His role as our Redeemer and that He died for us. In my life, that has made all the difference in the world.
