Hi I'm Diane

I am a happy grandma and I love being a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Diane. I have been married for 35 years to a wonderful man. We meet at BYU in Provo, Utah. We have 4 children and 4 darling grandchildren. My family is the joy of my life. We like hiking, boating, and spending time together. My husband and I work together in our own CPA firm.

Why I am a Mormon

I am the great-great granddaughter of Mormon pioneers who crossed the plains to settle in small Mormon communities in Utah and Idaho. I was raised with a great legacy of faith. I have heard of the great sacrifices my ancestors made when they joined the Mormon church. From the time I was a little girl I always knew this Church was true. It has been such a blessing in my life to have the Church as I went through my high school and college years. It has helped me avoid many of the pitfalls that many young people fall into. It was such a blessing in helping me raise my children in helping them avoid those pitfalls too. Now I see my children raise my grandchildren with that same faith. I know our Heavenly Father loves us and He wants us to be happy. I know when I follow His Plan that I can be happy no matter what may come.

How I live my faith

I have been actively involved in Church callings all of my adult life. I have spent much of my time in teaching and working with the young children. After working with these children I can understand why Jesus loved children and taught us to become as little children. They may be wiggly and noisy at times but they have such a sweet innocence and natural faith. I have also worked with the young women. There are so many wonderful young people in this Church who know who they are and where they want to go. In our own home my husband and I have tried to do family home evenings, family prayers, and scripture study with our own family.
