Hi I'm Stuart

I am an Emergency Physician. I was raised in a small town in Georgia, but now live in Idaho.

About Me

I was raised in a pretty small town in Georgia. I went to medical school in the early 90's. Currently I'm practicing as an emergency physician. My job is pretty interesting, but I am pretty boring. I enjoy reading about science. I love music and listen to a broad range of artists. I have 3 kids the oldest of which is a teenage girl and the youngest is an 8 year old boy. I spend a lot of time doing activities with my kids.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm Mormon because I believe that this religion helps so much to teach me and my family how to live happily. It teaches about self sacrifice. It teaches a way to orient ourselves to priorities that are more than our own self interests. It teaches us a lifestyle that avoids so many problems. It focuses our energies and interests outside of ourselves. I believe that this is why God provided a religion for us. It is intended to make us happier by teaching us to not want so much for ourselves.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by focusing my energies on teaching in church, helping others, and being a help to all around me. I strive to be the kind of person that others are comfortable asking for favors. I try to be an example of integrity and honesty. I strive to be fair in all I do, even when it's not in my best interest. I also live my faith by focusing a lot of my energy on my kids. I spend a lot of time coming up with activities for them that are enriching and entertaining. This builds them and builds our family unity.
