Hi I'm Maryjane

I born in North California. I am a District Conservationist for the United States Dept of Agriculture. I am a mom. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Soil Conservationist that works for USDA I enjoy sewing, quilting, reading, hiking, kayaking, camping, canning, playing farmville and facebook. I have a Bachelor of Science degree from Humboldt State University in Natural Resources Planning and Interpretation I grew up in Northern California, worked in Mid-Michigan, and now the Florida Panhandle. I am married for time and eternit to a wonderful husband I am a mother of 3 daughters and grandmother of 3 grandsons and 1 grandaughter

Why I am a Mormon

I believe in the FULNESS of the gospel. I was baptised with my husband twelve years ago after we attended church and studied with the missionaries for about 5 years in 4 different cities around Northern California. Each time we moved it didn't matter where we went the people, the lessons, the message was consistent. I gradually came to understand that Jesus truely is the head of this Church, that it is His Church, that it is a Way of life that He wants for us. He has called a Prophet to lead His people here on earth. I know that what we are being taught it true and that it is more than scripture mingled with the philosopies of men.

How I live my faith

I am a District Conservationist where I live, and honesty and integrity are crucial to my position. The values and strengths that I have learned as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints support all that I say and do. For my local church (ward) I teach an assigned lesson to the women's group on the second Sunday of each month. I believe in and strive to maintain daily scripture study (including the Book of Mormon which I believe to be the Word of God) and personal prayer. I try to get to know the people I go to church with and learn their needs so that if I can be of assistance in anyway I am there for them. Once a month I visit with two ladies in each of their homes to discuss a Gospel lesson.
