Hi I'm Josh

I'm a Mormon. I'm a college student, and I am loving life.

About Me

I grew up in Utah, and recently got married. I love doing small activities, such as drawing, searching the web, and reading. Though, it is difficult to find time to do all those thins. I am focused on working and getting through school in Accounting. I am truly loving life.

Why I am a Mormon

When i grew up in the church (mormon) I took everything for granted. I Loved going to church, but I didn't know if it was true. I believed it was, but I needed help. The one thing I knew, is that I knew, is that our church had something different. A little after I had turned 19, I decided to serve a mission for the church. I didn't know much, but I was willing to learn. It was there, that I learned who I was, and how much the church meant to me. I could have done anything on my mission, but I chose to serve and teach others about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Through countless experiences, I learned that God truly was my heavenly father. I knew that Christ had come to redeem men and women of their sins. I gained a new appreciation of God's commandments and scriptures. And I learned of the reality of living prophets, and the power of the holy priesthood of God. I did not believe this because someone told me to. I learned this through study, prayer, and many powerful experiences. The greatest experiences were using the priesthood I had been given, and meeting a prophet of God. I know that God lives. I know that He loves us. He does have Prophets to guide us today, just as in times of old. Why wouldn't he? The world needs it more now than ever before. I am a Mormon, because I have experienced the blessings of God countlessly, and because, I feel closer to God than I ever have before.

How I live my faith

I try to live like Christ lived. It is hard, and I mess up every day. I am not perfect. But, I try. I try to read my scriptures, to pray throughout the day, to serve others when they need help, and to fulfill my callings in the church. My wife and I have the wonderful opportunity of teaching some of the children in our congregation. It is such a beautiful thing. Living my faith, is being faithful, loyal, honest, patient, giving of one's time and means, and being a genuine friend to everyone.

What is faith?

Faith is believing in, and trusting God. Faith is believing that God will answer your prayers. Faith is willing to act on what God desires for you. "If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself." John 717 Show more Show less
