Hi I'm Christine.

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm an Italian American who grew up on the Jersey Shore speaks Spanish but lives in Pacific Northwest. I am married with 4 children and I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints when I was 15 1/2 years old. My parents taught me about Jesus and raised me in the Catholic faith. I decided to be baptized after listening to the missionaries discussions for over a year. The one lesson that stood out and touched my heart was that of the plan of salvation. Hearing about the pre-existence, and learning about the world where the spirits live after they die answered many questions I had about death and the resurrection. It was the piece of the puzzle that was missing for me. It was the best decision I had ever made. By the time I was 21 years old, I wanted to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with others so I served a mission for the Church in Buenos Aires. The Argentine people were so kind and loving people. I was so blessed. My greatest joy is helping others find happiness in their lives.

How I live my faith

I try my best to live the commandments to be a good example to my children. We read and watch videos about the teachings of Jesus Christ. We talk about how His teachings then can apply to our daily lives now. I try to teach them to make good choices and to follow our Savior. I also help others do family history/genealogy. I love to help others to understand how the plan of salvation can bless their lives like it has truly blessed mine.

Can husband and wife be together forever? Do you believe that families will live together in heaven?

Christine.
God has always had a plan for us to be happy. It is called the plan of happiness or plan of salvation. A man and a woman who are married in the temple have the assurance that their relationship will continue forever if they are true to their covenants. This plan of happiness enables family relationships to continue beyond the grave. Show more Show less

Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?

Christine.
My point in sharing my beliefs online is to let others know that I believe that Jesus Christ is my Savior. I have always believed that and the gospel of Jesus Christ has taught me a deeper understanding of what that means. Because God knew we would sometimes make wrong choices, He provided a way for us to be forgiven of our sins John 316. He provided a Savior, Jesus Christ, who suffered for our sins in the Garden of Gethsemane and on the cross so that when we sincerely repent, we can be forgiven. When people ask me, "how do you do it, raise 4 kids, all involved in sports, church and community activities?" My answer is, peace. Sincere repentance brings peace and forgiveness. I am not a perfect mother but it is my joy to teach them the happiness that comes from living the gospel of Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
