Hi I'm Jill

I am living a simple, ordinary but wonderful life. I am a Speech Pathologist and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a working, single member of the LDS church. I love the outdoors and spending time with my parents, brothers, and nieces and nephews. Music has been a true blessing in my life. I play the piano and sing in a 200 voice choir.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the LDS faith, but there came a time in my life that I needed to find out on my own if this was really the truth. My parents encouraged independence and not to rely on their belief, but to find out myself if what I have been learning is right. In my early teenage years, I remember praying earnestly and reading the scriptures (the Bible and Book of Mormon). I received an answer then and many times since then of their truthfulness. There is so much that I know is right because I'm a Mormon: the importance of families, staying virtuous, obedience brings happiness, having a modern day prophet to guide us, etc. There is so much that I'm grateful for because of my membership in the LDS church.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith everyday. I know that I'm definetly not perfect, but I try to be a good example to others around me. In church, I teach the women's group every month. The lessons are on talks that are given by our leaders of our church. This is a great experience to study the words of the prophets and understand what they currently want us to be focusing on and how we can improve ourselves in our current situations.
