Hi I'm Sara

I´m in love with art and dancing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I´m a college student studying humanities. I love life. I love laughing and being crazy with my friends, the beauty and art in the world around me, and interpreting my surroundings through a poetic lens. I´ve grown up with a great love and appreciation for the arts and I crave fulfillment and insight through dance, visual arts, film, and good writing and reading. I have a deep, rich love for my family and for those who have sacrificed for me.

Why I am a Mormon

I´m a Mormon partially because I grew up with the faith. My parents taught me from the time I was an infant the ways of this gospel. However, as I´ve grown up and discovered more intimately how God has been with me, protected me, strengthened me, and inspired me I have no doubts that this is the religion I need to follow. I know The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church. I know that the priesthood is vital because it is the legitimacy of this religion, and because I have been given the gift of the Holy Ghost that I have had increased experiences and closeness with my Father in Heaven. I am a Mormon because I believe God provided a sure way for us to return to him. I know profoundly that I can again be with my family members and my God in Heaven.

How I live my faith

Attending church is so important to me. Each week when I sit quietly and take the sacrement I feel peace and hope in my heart and thankfulness that I can begin a new week clean and trying to obey. I try to read from the Bible and the Book of Mormon everyday because I know the words will teach me, comfort me, and help me to feel the love of God. I attend the temple when I can, and for me, it is a place of immense love and peace. I feel safe, and I love that I can help another who has passed from this life to recieve the ordinances they need for salvation
