Hi I'm Chris Howell

I'm a Mormon. I love most anything with two wheels mountain bikes, road bikes, off road motorcycles and street bikes.

About Me

I am married with three kids and soon 10 grand kids. I live in WA but have lived in ID,UT, WA,OR, and CA. I like to think that I am a pacific northwestern. I have been riding motorcycles since I was 13 and have owned dozens. When I am not on a motorcycle I am on one of my bicycles. I love hiking, biking and exploring the outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the faith, but had a very wise bishop when I was a teenager. He challenged me to find my own conviction. I put it to the test as best as I could and did not have a great manifestation or witness, but a simple realization that all that I had been taught since birth was correct and according to God's will. I know that this church is authorized to conduct his work on earth and the work performed is valid and binding.

How I live my faith

As a member of the church I current serve as a Boy Scout leader. I take 2-8 boys out once a month for some kind of outdoor activity. Scouting is all about service and self reliance. These are principles that are taught by the church. Besides BSA activity I visit the homes of 5 families and try and help them with their homes, careers, families and personal growth as a home teacher. I also try and keep my neighborhood organized and acquainted with a current roster of names and numbers. We then host an annual barbeque.
