Hi I'm Huynh

I was born and grew up in Vietnam until I was forty years old. I 'm a Mormon.

About Me

When I had lived in my homeland, I enjoyed working in hospitals and in small clinics with many good people who devoted their lives to the poor and to the war victims. My dream of having a productive life to serve and to enjoy life led me to join the Catholic Church right after I finished my schooling. Even though I had been an active Catholic member, yet I still felt that I missed something spiritually. Then I had continued looking for what I was missing. Then I met two young ladies who taught Scriptures by the very inspired way which I earnestly longed for so long.

Why I am a Mormon

Later on, I learned that these two young ladies belonged to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. They have also devoted the full eighteen months of their lives to others who were looking for the Truth. Their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ was so strong, their hearts were so pure, their minds were so clear and so deep that I felt their beautiful and inspired message called the Plan of Salvation from my Beloved Father in Heaven. The Plan reminds me of His wonderful purpose for my life. He created me. He loves me. He cares of me. I joined this Church to learn, to grow and to fulfill that purpose of my eternal destiny at the age of fifty. That is why I am a Mormon. I am a witness to see the Lord performs miracles in my life to change me becoming closer to Him by the way I joyfully keep His commandments. I started studying Scriptures daily and started having better understanding and great love of His teachings through His holy prophets' records in both the Bible and the Book of Mormon. I enjoy following the teachings of our living prophets in General Conference. I recognize His power of protection from temptations when I face to my own life storms. I realize that I have been equipped the power of prayer when I live the way that the Holy Spirit can always be with me. I am very thankful that I have always been purified by the Lord's Atonement when I faithfully let Him sanctify me by the sacred ordinances in His true Church. I know that He lives. I know that He is the Head of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I know that when I love Him and our Heavenly Father with all my heart, mind, might and strength, He can bless me to serve His children with His immense Love, so that we can get full blessing of becoming holy day by day. I know that I am the Lord's walking-miracle and I am happy to fulfill the purpose of my life. For that I am always thankful to my Heavenly Father, the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit

How I live my faith

Since after my baptism, I have enjoyed sharing my happiness to other children of Heavenly Father and have found the deep joy of living the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I am so thankful for my better understanding of the Book of Mormon. I know that with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, our wonderful Church Leaders faithfully work under the Head of the Church, Jesus Christ. I am so grateful for the Plan of Happiness that tells me where I came from, why I am here and what will happen for me after I leave this mortal life. We truly are our Heavenly Father's children. We have our divine nature and divine destiny from our Beloved Heavenly Father. We know which way we can have peace in this life and have eternal joy in the life to come because Heavenly Father wants us to be like Him and to be with Him forever. And He will have great joy when we choose to return home with Him. Our Heavenly Father, the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit always help us and sanctify us on this sacred journey throughout all eternity. For that I am eternally grateful to follow Christ's footstep day after day.
